Birthday girl

Addie turns 9 today. Party today with friends from school to watch the movie Descendants.   Morning started with breakfast in bed made by mom and Kiki. 

Little Miss Hollywood - Kiki and I had a blast at Ellie's soccer games all weekend. But it was smoking hot!!!

The final mileage count

Day 8 - THE final day.

After sleeping at the rest stop last night in the trailer, we are all ready to be home. About an hour drive from our campground last night we hit severe weather. Luckily there was a rest stop only 2 miles up the road so we all pulled over to wait out the storms. Took about a hour and a half. By the time it was safe to move it was 11 PM and we had been on the road since 9 AM and we were exhausted.  So we all climbed in the trialor and slept in our clothes.

This morning we piled back in the car after brushing our teeth. Put given we are all in the same clothes still don't expect any more pics of me this trip. I am tapping out. But here is this cutie. Even after crying from 2:30 to 4 AM about an ear ache and keeping mom up... She looks fresh as a daisy. 

Day 7: Tahoe - mile 1652. Still smiling.

Day 6: Snake river - the one thing I wanted to do all week and my phone died right when I got on the river raft. We had dinner with steak and fish before we got in the raft.

Day 7: Driving from the Tetons back to the Badlands. We are now at a rest stop due to a tornado warning.

Kiki was crying but weade friends with some girls who have little dogs. Therapy dogs!!

Day 7: So...this happened. 20 miles from the nearest gas station. Picture below is me taking in the wildlife from my folding chair while we waited an hour to be rescued

Day 6: Jackson Lake Lodge waiting for float on the Snake River to start. I can't get enough of the Tetons.

Day 6: Grand Tetons. I have mastered how to take photos out of the back of a moving Tahoe

Day 6: Drive down to the Grand Tetons - stopped for lunch, photos and wildlife

Day 5: Yellowstone - interview with Addie Joy

Day 5: Yellowstone - reward of ice cream and slushies for the weary after 15,000 steps. Auntie and Kiki has matching blue teeth!

day 5: Yellowstone - Mammoth falls. Amazing to take in, but a ton of walking for little legs. Did over 15,000 steps today
